Guess what! I had lived 60 years and didn't know that until we came here to Hawaii, and the Hawaiian's had learned from the monkeys and showed us! What a joy it is now to peel that banana the "right" way! I hated to admit it, but I thought I was the only one doing it wrong...so happy to hear I have company in the "banana opening" arena!
